Surgical Operating Microscope

Our Endodontist uses surgical microscope for every procedure. This advanced technology with illumination and magnification allows her to visualize fine anatomy and to save the tooth structure by performing minimal access necessary. Several other benefits of microscopes are Improved visualization, magnification, and illumination of the root and tooth structures, improved diagnosis, increased precision and predictability in procedures, more thorough cleansing of root canal systems, just to name a few.

Digital X-Ray

Our practice is dedicated to provide safe and convenient imaging options to our patients.

As part of that we utilize advanced digital X-ray technology in our office. Besides minimizing radiation exposure, digital x-rays offer numerous advantages to patients such as less processing time, comfortable, clear images, easy sharing and storage.

Cone beam computed tomography (cbct)

A CBCT is an extraoral imaging technique involving a cone-shaped beam and radiographic detector, which orbit around the patient.
At Dublin Endodontics, we have JMorita X800 CBCT machine which has endodontic function that enables a small volume higher resolution image.
CBCT has several applications such as
⁃ An aid in diagnosis of periapical pathology.
⁃ In the planning of surgical endodontic procedures, as it will provide accurate information as to the size and location of the periapical lesion and root apex in relation to structures such as the maxillary sinus, inferior dental canal, and mental foramen
⁃ Assess dentoalveolar trauma
⁃ Assessment of complex root canal anatomy
⁃ Assessment of treatment complications to help determine appropriate treatment
⁃ Assessment of root resorption

CBCT has been an invaluable tool in helping our patients by providing accurate diagnosis and understand prognosis of the teeth to be treated so they can make the best decision.
